On August 13, 2011, New Melle FPD firefighters collected a whopping $2,775.17 at three locations from local area residents and visitors for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). The department currently collects for only two events per year, those being MDA and St. John’s Mercy Burn Center.
New Melle FPD firefighters are proud to stand and collect for both causes, and thank its community for the truly outstanding support shown this year!
